A new handheld device from LeapFrog is changing the way kids lean how to read.

The Tag Reading System features “learn-to-read technology” that allows kids to directly interact with books. By touching the Tag reader on any page of any Tag-enabled book, kids can access audio for the stories, as well as the fun-filled games and activities spread throughout the pages.

Over 20 books are available featuring favorites including SpongeBob, the Disney Princesses and Miss Spider. Illustrations are bright and cheerful and the voices used for the narrator and characters are bubbly and fun. Kids will get a kick out of the different silly sounds and will enjoy trying to find the different activities on the pages.

The Tag Reading System: $49.99; Tag Books and Activity Boards: $13.99 each; Tag Activity Cards: $7.99 each; Suggested age: 4-8 years
