The Christian Children's Fund is offering another option for "Black Friday" shoppers. The gift choices might seem a bit unorthodox -- chickens, camels and goats -- but the recipients are as grateful as the kid who finds an Elmo Live under the tree.

The Gifts of Love and Hope catalog features items chosen to benefit children and families in developing countries. Potential purchases include solar lanterns, paper and pencils and seeds and tools. All purchases are tax-deductible and are sent directly to the recipients in one of the 32 countries where CCF is located.
