It's a reality that all parents must deal with. Kids lose things. They lose jackets and lunchboxes and hats and gloves and backpacks and thermoses and toys and videogames and assorted other items that a. cost money and b. are annoying to have to replace. I usually end up writing our last name in and on just about everything that my kids own, but that's not always practical. Sometimes the marker runs and sometimes it washes out and sometimes it is just plain hard to read. There had to be a better way.

And then the folks at Name Bubbles sent me over their Daycare Pack -- 140 personalized labels that seem to stand up to just about everything. There are some that are dishwasher-safe, others that can go in the wash and still others that are water-resistant. And not only that, but they come in some cool shapes (we got some cars and footballs for my son) and bright colors that are sure to catch the attention of anyone who might find a lone jacket on the floor or a sippy cup left in the refrigerator.

The company also makes other types of labels -- medical alert, luggage, sports gear and even ones for birthday party favors. If you want something you need to identify, Name Bubbles probably has a label that would be appropriate. Goodbye annoying magic marker!

Does your preschooler lose things? How do you label his stuff?

I use these they are great! I have them on my daughter’s clothes — and they really stay put after multiple washes. And they’re cute b/c you can personalize them for your child’s personality (obviously she has pink ones with butterflies).

The company was really good too. Do a search for discount codes and you might find a code to save 10-15% as well.
