So the weather is finally warm (or warmer at least), how about we read a book about the cold?
Snowball's Antarctic Adventures (manufacturer's site) by Tim Ostermeyer is a beautifully-photographed book starring Snowball the Emperor penguin. The story follows Snowball and other Emperor penguins as they explore the Antarctic landscape and look for other forms of wildlife.
Such a gorgeous book, featuring breathtaking countryside and interesting facts about the native animals of the region. Ostermeyer, a master photographer, does amazing work -- not just taking the photos, but choosing ones that make for an interesting tale.
A wonderful story that will teach you and your preschooler a thing or two!
