If you have got a preschooler who is already reading, you want to do everything you can to encourage this bourgeoning skill. A great way to do this is to pick titles that include words they already know and words that will help them expand their vocabulary.
I've always been a big fan of BOB Books for young readers and pre-readers. Their newest line BOB Books Early Readers (compare prices) feature 32-page color books with a pair of siblings as the main characters. Together they do a host of things that preschoolers can relate to like playing with a puppy or baking cupcakes. Right now two books are available, more will be added this summer and fall.
The illustrations are colorful and the text is interesting, whether your preschooler is practicing reading or listening to you read. A good choice whether or not you are familiar with the BOB Books or not.
Is your preschooler reading or showing signs of readiness?
