Parenting a 3-Year-Old

parenting a 3-year-oldMy little guy turned three a few weeks ago and I am completely amazed at the difference a year makes. When I look back at pictures of his second birthday, I realize that he still looks like a baby -- chubby cheeks, wispy hair, pudgy fingers. As a three-year-old, he looks more like a kid than a toddler and he acts that way too. His imagination (see above left) is in full bloom, he's smart and funny and he wows us every day with his questions, his thoughts and his intelligence.

Three year olds are such amazing creatures when you consider all they can do and all they learn every day. And while every child develops at different rates, there are still some milestones you should be aware of. Wondering where your little one falls or what to expect in the coming year? Check out our story on 3-Year-Old Development and Milestones.

What developmental milestone have you been most impressed by?
