One of my favorite parts of having a child in preschool are all the arts and crafts projects that are brought home. And around the time of a holiday, it's even better -- instant decorations!
This year though, we've hit a bit of a snag. Since Hurricane Sandy hit, Mr. S. has not been to preschool. (It will be almost three weeks when he goes back on Tuesday. They haven't even had their Halloween party yet!) Aside from him missing it terribly, my walls are bare -- Thanksgiving is nearly two weeks ago and nary a paper turkey in sight!
Luckily, together Mr. S. and I came up with some great ideas for easy preschool Thanksgiving crafts. Geared at little ones, they are a lot of fun for any kids in your house to do and really help get everyone into the spirit. It my house, where we are still a bit shellshocked from the storm, working on these crafts this weekend really was a great boost.
How do you decorate for Thanksgiving?
