Mr. S. came home with the cutest craft from preschool last week. It's a Santa Claus made out of a paper plate and construction paper. On his beard are the numbers 1-24, one for each day leading up to Christmas. So not only did he have fun making his craft in school, this one also taught him about counting and sequencing, something I can reinforce ever day as we glue a cotton ball to the beard, watching it get fuller and fuller as we get closer to Christmas Day.
Our collection of easy preschool Christmas crafts, are also functional -- they make great decorations or gifts and can mostly be made with things you probably have around the house. Even better, they are geared for little ones. Not only are they not complicated, but they can be made in just a few minutes. Happy crafting!
