A regular look at hot toys being offered this holiday season. Check out our Gift Guide for more.

Let's face it. There are some really cool toys for kids out there. Really cool toys. If you've got an older preschooler that you are still shopping for this holiday season, and you've got a big budget, consider these Infared Night Vision Goggles and Camcorder (compare prices) from Nerf and Sakar International. Giving kids the ability to see in the dark (and record their adventures to boot), these goggles are one of those toys you might also have to wrestle away from certain older people in your house (for us it was dad and Mr. S.'s 12-year-old brother, Mr. C.).

While three-year-old Mr. S. couldn't work these on his own, with some assistance from the two more-than-willing helpers named above, he was able to go outside with these after dusk and check out our backyard in a brand new way. Definitely an eye-opener for him and lots of fun for us to watch.

Note: Before opening, definitely have four AA batteries and an SD card available. Neither are included and you'll need them for the goggles and camcorder to work properly.

Nerf Night Vision Goggles and Camcorder, appropriate for kids ages five and up; $89.99

Which of your preschooler's toys do you like to play with?
