Turn the Page Tuesday: You Are My I Love You

You Are My I Love You I must tell Mr. S. (and my two older kids) that I love him at least a hundred times a day. And when I say those words, he'll give me one of a variety of reactions -- a smile, a laugh, a hug, or even an "I love you too!" back. But I wonder sometimes, how much he actually understands love -- what it means to love someone and to be unconditionally loved back.

You Are My I Love You (compare prices) by Maryann K. Cusimano and illustrated by Satomi Ichikawa follows the relationship between a parent bear and a child bear and how they demonstrate love for each other in many, many ways. With sweet text and gentle watercolor illustrations, You Are My I Love You is a wonderful book to cuddle up to read with your little one around Valentine's Day or any time really, you want to express your love.

Does your preschooler say "I love you?"
