One of Mr. S.'s favorite toys to play with is a ball. Its his go-to toy whether we are playing inside or out, and when I let him pick out a treat at the store, a ball is usually what we wind up going home with.
And even though we probably have over 50 balls in assorted sizes and types at our house, I don't mind at all. Playing with a ball is a great way for a child to work on their fine and gross motor skills as well as practice their manners (taking turns for one) and even learn about math and science.
