One of the more popular shows on The Hub Network, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is an cartoon series that explores friendship and kindness in the enchanted land of Equestria, in the town of Ponyville. As the animated ponies go on fun adventures, young viewers not only enjoy the stories (and the bright and cheerful animations), but learn about socialization.
In the season three series finale of the show, Twilight Sparkle, a purple unicorn and the main character, is made a princess. All season long she has been preparing, continuing her studies under Princess Celestia, learning about friendship and what it means to be royalty. Ultimately, thanks to the help of her friends and her assistant Spike, she completes all of her tasks and she becomes a winged unicorn.
