You can adjust the recipe to the number of bananas you need to make -- the ratio of bananas to chocolate is simply 1 ounce of chocolate for every half banana. Ingredients:
- 3 bananas, cut in half widthwise, into a total of six pieces
- 6 popsicle sticks
- 6 ounces chocolate chips, melted
- Toppings for the bananas -- granola, chopped nuts, shredded coconut or crispy rice cereal
Preparation:
Push a popsicle stick through the cut end of each banana. Cover either in plastic wrap or place in an airtight container and freeze until hard -- about four hours.
Using a butter knife, spread the melted chocolate on the frozen bananas.
Dip each banana in your topping of choice and place on a piece of waxed paper.
Refreeze until you are ready to serve.
